Mittler Bros. 2200-H 5 Ton Hydraulic Bench Press with 12" Throat

The Mittler Bros. 2200-H is the hydraulic version of Mittler's 12" throat bench press. A 5 ton cylinder replaces the hand lever, so the press does the work and both hands stay on the panel.

It runs the same punch and flare dies and press tooling as the manual 2200 series, and Mittler rates it for a 3" punch and flare in 16 gauge mild steel. Hydraulic power earns its keep on repeat work: a row of lightening holes, a run of louvers, or a batch of brackets where pulling a lever fifty times gets old. Mittler Bros. press tooling covers louver punches, corner radius punches, corner notching, a 90 degree bend kit and a shear assembly, all sold separately.

The press needs a pump, which is sold separately. Mittler's air hydraulic pump runs off shop air, and the electric hydraulic pump suits shops without the compressor capacity. The frame is 3/8" plate with bronze bushings on the ram, and it ships at 76 lb in a 25" x 25" x 13" box.

For occasional use, the manual 2200-M needs no pump. For deep panels and 14 gauge, step up to the 10 ton 2210-HD. See all bench presses.
