Picard 252/28 Ball End Hammer

The Picard 252/28 is a body hammer with a 40 mm round face and an 18 mm ball end on a long pein. It weighs 460 g (16 oz) with its 300 mm handle.

The ball end raises low spots and works small radii and beads from the back without the point load of a pick, and the long pein gives it reach behind inner panels.

The head is Picard alloyed special steel, hardened and tempered, and finished in Picard's blue hammertone enamel. It sits on a dual-curved hickory handle with an octagonal grip, fixed to the head with Picard's ring wedge. Picard has made hammers in Germany since 1857.
