Picard 251/6 1/2 Double Face Planishing Hammer

The Picard 251/6 1/2 is a compact double face planishing hammer with a 30 mm round face and a 25 mm square face. It weighs 330 g (12 oz) with its 300 mm handle.

The smaller faces suit tighter curves, edges and smaller panels such as motorcycle tins and patch panels, where a large face is too much hammer.

The head is Picard alloyed special steel, hardened and tempered, and finished in Picard's blue hammertone enamel. It sits on a dual-curved hickory handle with an octagonal grip, fixed to the head with Picard's ring wedge. Picard has made hammers in Germany since 1857.
