Hydraulic Tube & Pipe Benders
A hydraulic tube and pipe bender drives the bend with ram pressure instead of muscle. On the same machine, going hydraulic doesn't change what you can bend — capacity is set by the bender and dies, not the pump — it changes the effort: the ram does the work, so you get repeatable angles all day without leaning into a handle. On most hydraulic machines the head also sits on its own stand rather than bolting to a bench, so you can roll the bender to the work.
STM carries hydraulic benders from Baileigh, Pro-Tools, Ercolina, Eastwood, and Mittler Bros., from $1,599 to $32,799. The choice that matters most is where the ram pressure comes from: air-hydraulic benders run off your shop compressor — no electrical hookup, hands free while the ram works — and electric-hydraulic benders run a powered pump for faster, production-rate cycling. The Pro-Tools 105 HD opens the range as a complete air-hydraulic package; the Baileigh RDB-150 and RDB-175 step up to heavier capacity, and the RDB-500 anchors the top for large-diameter pipe.
If you've narrowed your search by something other than drive style, the manual tube benders and computer-controlled CNC benders are grouped separately, and for a single vendor's hydraulic range see Baileigh hydraulic tube benders or Eastwood hydraulic tube benders. Not sure whether air or electric fits your work? Call us on 855 605 4599 — we'll talk through wall thickness, diameter, and how often you'll run it.
