Gen 2 OX Planishing Hammer — Coachsmithing Handheld Planisher

The Gen 2 OX Planishing Hammer replaces the Original OX. It carries some of the design elements from the Heavy Duty OX in a smaller package, with increased durability.

A heavy-duty steel piston drives the pneumatic hammer at between 1 and 2000 slaps per minute. Combined with the large slapping blade (8" x 1.5"), you can move metal quickly and achieve a superior finish in no time. There are no hoops or frames to work around — at 4 lbs it fits in the palm of your hand, so you can planish anywhere you can reach with a dolly.

The Gen 2 OX is made by metal shapers for metal shapers. Whether you are fabricating custom or bespoke work for automotive, hot rod, aviation, motorcycle, art and more, it earns its place in the kit. It suits aluminum and light-gauge mild steel; for heavier 16-18g mild steel, step up to the Heavy Duty OX Planishing Hammer.
