A floor-standing 48-inch box and pan brake for heavier sheet than a bench-top finger brake will take. It bends up to 12-gauge (0.0985 inch) mild steel, 7-gauge (0.157 inch) aluminum and 16-gauge (0.059 inch) stainless, to a maximum of 135 degrees.

The removable fingers let you set the clamping width to the job, so a box, pan or tray with flanges already bent fits between the fingers instead of fouling a solid clamp bar. Counterweights on the bending wing take the effort out of heavy bends, and they slide in, out or come off entirely to suit the material. An adjustable stop gauge stops the wing at the same angle every time for repeat parts. That makes it a brake for automotive panels, reinforcements and brackets as well as general fabrication.

This is a heavy machine. Assembled it measures 61.02 x 71.65 x 66.93 inches and weighs 1,091 lb, and Eastwood requires lifting equipment rated for at least 1,200 lb, such as an engine hoist or overhead crane, to assemble and position it. It ships by LTL freight with the legs, handles, counterweights and stop gauge, and carries a 1-year Eastwood warranty.
